Fears and Phobias

A phobia occurs when a negative emotion is attached to a triggering incident. Just one bad experience is enough to set off a lifetime of negative fear reactions to triggers including needles, enclosed spaces (claustrophobia), dental procedures, travelling, etc.  Hypnotherapy can explore the source of the precipitating event. Often the realisation alone is enough to dissolve the negative emotion. If not, further hypnotherapeutic techniques can replace the negatives with new perspectives and a positive outlook.

“I am writing to thank you for the help you gave me in getting over my fear of needles.  It has made my life so much easier;  I can join in conversations and see things I never could before.  More importantly it has allowed me to go into a jaw operation with none of the fear I would have felt without your help. Being able to go through it as easily as I did is a small miracle.”  M.H.  Basingstoke
