I am an Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, a Psychotherapist, a Performance Coach, Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Fertility Therapist, Happiest Baby Educator and an Accredited Bereavement Counsellor. I work and research internationally, both privately and on consultant’s referral at clinics and hospitals. For the past 15 years I have used and taught hypnosis and other strategies to help clients effect change and personal growth.
Psychotherapy focuses on transforming problematic feelings, thoughts and behaviours into workable solutions. I honour my clients’ capacity to make rational, appropriate choices and develop their maximum potential. To achieve this I blend elements from different approaches and tailor treatment to each client’s needs. Working together will build awareness, understanding and acceptance of yourself and others.
Hypnosis is simply a very deep state of relaxation. Hypnotherapy is a “tool” that uses this altered state to communicate directly with the unconscious (right side of the brain) in order to access your natural excellence and resourceful self. You can open the doors to all your dreams when you connect and come back home to your true self.
Children are good hypnotic subjects as they have active imaginations and sometimes even live in the world of stories and creativity. The state of daydreaming can be utilised by the hypnotherapist to achieve desired changes. Participation in the simple, rhythmic, and soothing features of hypnotherapy is enjoyable; the results of treatment usually appear quickly and are obvious, thus allowing even young children to see its value.
